Nick Bounty and the Dame with the Blue Chewed Shoe

From the Writer/Designer that brought you Tales of Monkey Island, Puzzle Agent and Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People comes a comedy noir adventure! Play as the smart-ass detective as he tries to discover who murdered the dame with the blue chewed shoe.

The game was a Kickstarter project by a developer that worked on several Telltale games and was released in April of this year. It is NOT a Telltale like game. It feels like a point and click adventure game in that we are trying to solve puzzles using inventory items and discovering clues and trying to solve a mystery. The game is very high on humor and while the humor is hit and miss, I feel like when it hits, it is worth the misses. You also pick a partner who is with you for most of the game. The game changes based on who you have as your partner, likely mostly of the dialogue and jokes. The voice acting is good and many of the voice actors voiced characters in the Walking Dead series of games. The first play through took me 3 hours and another play through with a different partner would likely take significantly less time.
