Space Quest II: Vohaul's Revenge

<i>Space Quest II: Vohaul's Revenge</i> is a remake of the classic Space Quest II: Chapter II - Vohaul's Revenge, the second installment in the <i>Space Quest</i> series. It has been translated from its original EGA 16-color graphics into the style of Sierra's VGA graphics of the early 1990’s. Aside from improved graphics, the game now features fully spoken enhanced dialogues with dialogue pictures, redrawn all backgrounds, professionally composed music and new interface.

<p>I fell like it is rare that a remake takes the original and makes it better, but I feel that in a lot of places this remake succeeded. The graphics are very true to the original and most of the puzzles remain the same, though a few variations and the vast quality of easter eggs made this game very fun for a fan of the series. I don’t think it would be possible to make every single fan happy with the changes and I would have preferred some things remaining the same, but the experience of playing this remake almost felt like playing Space Quest II for the first time again with all of the new content that there was to experience. It felt like a Sierra game in pretty much every area. The voice acting was great, the graphics were well made, and the humor was very much in the park of the original creators. </p>
