Hiveswap: Act 1

A hand-drawn tribute to hilarious '90s adventure games (with none of the accompanying frustration). Play as Joey Claire, a puzzle-solving teen snatched out of her time (1994) and place (Earth) and stranded on a hostile alien planet on the brink of rebellion.

<p>This game took the point and click format and did some things with it that I wasn’t expecting. The game has several RPG like combats, but they were puzzle solving based instead of HP based, which was an interesting touch that I hadn’t seen before. Overall, the puzzle solving was pretty straight forward and there was a bit of visual novel in the game from the chatting back and forth, but, for the most part, I didn’t feel it was in the way.
